Located in Tofino, BC, serving their specialty of wood fire brisket, barbecue and Texas style is Lil’ Ronnie’s. 

Ronnie Lee, the owner and operator of the joint, first started cooking wood fire barbecue during his time at culinary school. After culinary school, he spent some time as a restaurant consultant while still continuing his passion for cooking wood fire barbecue on the side. 

Not everyone has the patience for the 18 hour process of cooking a brisket with fire, but Ronnie’s passion only grew. When his friend encouraged him to take a risk and move across the country, Ronnie decided to fully pursue his passion of barbecue.

Since his time cooking in a 10 x 10 tent, his company has grown to now have its own brick and mortar location on the McKenzie beach – Lil’ Ronnie’s Beachside BBQ. Over the years they have garnered a reputation for amazing live music and food.
